Risk Assessment Introductory Class (3-hour)

Overview

The new Workplace Safety and Health (Risk Management) Regulations came into effect on 1^st Sep 06. All companies and employers are required to conduct risk assessment to identify potential safety problems at their workplaces. They will then need to implement measures to control or reduce these hazards.

This 3-hour introductory Risk Assessment workshop will empower you to know what you need to know and get started on risk assessment. It focuses less on theory but more on application. It aims to demystify the complexity of Risk Assessment methodology & presents a simpler approach for participants’ direct application back at their workplaces. We use LR Brain approach in our training to give practical results to our participants. We have received over 100 letters of commendation from MNCs, government bodies and other companies for our training.

Objective

To empower Committee members, Managers, Engineers, Supervisors & Safety Personnel to conduct Risk Assessment under Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) in their own workplaces.

Practical Application

For this workshop to be useful & relevant, companies are encouraged to send in teams with sample process flowcharts and other information for application in group-based workshop activities.
