Incident Reporting & Investigation Workshop

Overview

From 1st March 2006, employers, occupiers and doctors who fail to report workplace incidents and diseases to Ministry of Manpower (MOM) can be fined and/or jailed, under the Workplace Safety and Health (Incident Reporting) Regulations. This applies to all workplaces, and not just factories.

This workshop introduces participants to the Workplace Safety and Health Act and how it impacts them. It also takes participants through a step-by-step navigation of iReport, the online system for reporting Accidents, Dangerous Occurrences and Occupational Diseases under WSHA Incident Reporting Regulations and Accidents & Occupational Diseases under the Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA). Course materials will be provided and a certificate of attendance will be awarded.
