bizSAFE 2 Risk Management Course (2-days/14-hours) - 14 SDU points & 14 PDU points

Overview

The new Workplace Safety and Health (Risk Management) Regulations came into effect on 1st Sep 06. All employers, self-employed, principals, contractors and sub-contractors are required to conduct risk assessments to identify potential safety problems at their workplaces. They will then need to implement measures to control or reduce these hazards.

Objective

Bond International Consultants Pte Ltd has been appointed as Approved Risk Consultant, Accredited Training Provider and BizSAFE Service Provider for Risk Management Course (RMC) by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Workplace Safety & Health Advisory Committee (WSHAC). This course aims to empower Risk Management Champions (top management, WSH Committee members, EHS personnel, Managers, Engineers & Supervisors) with the knowledge and skills to conduct Risk Assessment and Risk Management under Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) 2006 and WSH (Risk Management) Regulations 2006, and to devise their own risk management plans for their own workplaces.

Practical Application

For this workshop to be useful & relevant, companies are encouraged to send in teams with sample process flowcharts and other information for application in group-based workshop activities. A major deliverable will be the establishment of risk management plans by participants for their companies in the course.
